The application allows users to combine videos, live photos, and still images into a cohesive video presentation with notable ease. It offers features such as smooth wipe transitions and the ability to layer audio, enhancing the overall soundtrack of the video. Moreover, users can creatively manipulate both video and audio by reversing them, adding an intriguing effect to the final product.

Trimming is straightforward; when you crop a video, the audio is automatically adjusted to align with the new duration. For those seeking granular control, the "First Selected Media Item Audio" option facilitates media actions like Replace Audio, Add Audio, or Add Audio From Current Time, ensuring a tailored editing experience.

Upon adding live or still images, they are instantly converted into video format, permitting the application of all available video actions. Users can easily filter, trim, crop, rotate, label, or overlay various media elements, thanks to a user-friendly interface. The media actions menu also supports the merging of multiple videos in diverse layouts—be it side-by-side arrangements, vertical stacks, grids of four or nine, or dynamic sliding configurations.

A picker table located at the top of the screen provides access to all photo albums. By selecting a row, users can view the album contents in a scrollable format below and conveniently tap any media item to add it to their editing collection. Once ready to edit, users can import photos and videos from iCloud or paste new media directly into their projects through the media actions menu accessed via the designated button.

Furthermore, AddMovie's functionality extends beyond its own platform by integrating seamlessly with other applications. This allows for effortless media import via share menus. Users can engage with media items by tapping to play videos or using 'tap and hold' gestures to access a comprehensive video actions menu for further customization.
